So, when does YOUR vacation start?

Ale thought I had 7 days vacation from work, just as she will have 7 days vacation from school.... Frown I wish!
...I explained work vacations aren't the same as school vacations...she was disappointed, but, I promised her I would try to take the day off on the 26th (her b-day)...
I already asked and my boss said I can take it....

    My "vacation" will start as soon as the ten feet of water on the road into our boat marina recedes. Two days ago the river was pouring over the levy. Yesterday the sodden levy collapsed, so the water is pouring out into the corn fields, but it could be a while yet before we can go over the levy to the boat. We normally start fishing trips in March and have not been able to get onto the water a single time this year due to the flooding on the Mississippi River. The nearby riverside town where we sometimes stop for food or coffee is fighting for its existence. At least I hope it is still fighting. I have not heard the news for today.
