My first car "emergency"!

..I installed the windshield wipers...obviously, I'm not as good at it as I thought...one of them flipped over and I had to stop them or I was going to scratch the windshield!...luckily, it was just drizzling at the time and we were near my boss' house, and were able to get there before the storm started!...we stayed there for about 1 hour and, then the rain was gentle enough for us (ALe and I) to get home...I re-installed them this morning...hope I did a better job this time!

    I think if you get the wipers from the dealership, they will install them for you. Also, check and see if they have a newsletter. Mine sends out coupons for the parts store, which drops the price even more.

    I always go to the auto parts store and buy the whole piece and attatch it to the arm. The inserts always give me trouble. Good luck!

    I'm quite curious how it flipped over?

    I guess I really can't criticize ... The first time I changed the windshield wipers on my vehicle I got one sucessfully changed, but the other one ... ended up stuck on for the next year until I finally cut it off. You'd think they would make installation easier.

    LOL! I did buy the whole piece....I just didn't snap it in properly, so, when I started the wipers, one of them was so loose htat it flibbed, so the back was laying on the windshield, instead of the rubber part!
