I cut Ale's hair!

she asked me to cut it really short, and it's now in a bob to her chin (after having waist-long hair, it's a shocking change!)...the comments have been good, though!..and, after crying for about 5 minutes (when she saw how much hair I had cut), she now loves it!!...

Of course, she's made me promise I'll get my hair cut next week! ((faint))

    Sounds like what I did to Rose's hair the spring she was 7. She just wanted me to hack it off, so I did, trimmed it up and it was the cutest little blond bob. I was amazed at how easy it was! I'd done my son's often and even my husband's a couple times, but girl hair is different. It shows longer if you mess it up and you can't turn it into a buzz cut to hide mistakes. Now its down to her waist again, less than 2 years later and she's leaning in that direction again. Hope the 2nd time is as easy as the first.

    Congratulations on being brave enough to do it.
