Loan was denied!

Oh, well, I'll have to look for an alternate solution!!...I know I can get a loan from the company co-op, as long as I can find 2 co-signors...I have 1, need to find another one...

    Did they give you a reason as to why the loan was denied? If you get a chance, it may be worthwhile asking politely for future reference.

    They didn't give me a reason (but I WILL ask the acct executive after the Holidays)...I think it might be that: a. As per policy your loan has to be at least 6 months old before you can re-apply, and mine was 5 1/2 months...and b. Might be due the amount of discounts that I currently have (the $90 for the school that are going into the co-op, for example)...those were the things that worried me when I applied...

    Anyway, I know I'll find another solution...maybe it's just God's way of saying I shouldn't buy THAT car, but wait for another!!...

    i was denied a first mtg for $200,000 by a bank i use the most.. i asked why and the bank manager said she was absent the day the loan application went to the bank committee... so, i asked her to resubmit and try to be there to explain..... then she confessed, they had asked me if i lived at an address in another city that i never heard of, after receiving my credit report info.. and i had said no... anyway, the credit bureaus had incorrect info. on my past residences.. we have only lived at two... so, i told her to crash and burn.... went to the va financial services office and it took about 45 days, but, they approved us... no problem...
    also, this same s&l is behind times... i went there monday to enroll in a ira for 2005 and they told me, it ended on sat.. the 15th...vanguard said i had until the 17th.. anywho, after sitting in the office for 20 mins.. they did it for me... after they went thru the chain of command... this is the closest bank to where we live.. i hope chase takes them over in a merger.
