no particular reason....today, for example, I don't feel I've accomplished anything (although I've done a lot of things, but they just seem so irrelevant...)

    It's just that most of what I've done today is reconfirm suppliers and attendees for a party the office is hosting tonight (which, quite frankly, I don't feel like attending, but I have to at least "make an appearance"!)... and it just seems so futile...like I said 1,000 little things, but it doesn't really feel like "progress", you know?
    Plus, I have to make Nanny stay after hours, so I'll have to give her money for a cab. I used to give her $10 (which I knew covered fare + something extra for herself) but, given the gas prices, I'm willing to bet that won't be enough for a cab ride home, so I'll have to give her $15
