ugh!...
Looking at it on the bright side:
- it wasn't by too much (from $315 to $350)
- I only pay half of it
- We've had the same rent for over 5 years now
- it's still way below the average for the area (~$450)
- The increase will start on the May rent, I should receive my payraise by then!
I already told sis...
Back to re-work the numbers in the budget!
My rent was just raised!

I would go back to them and say no higher then the 2007 government stated rate of inflation of 2.3%.

Actually, we were expecting this increase since last year...it's actually lucky that the landlady waited until this year...as we are in a much better financial situation. (Sis finished paying 1 of her loans- which is why she wanted to consolidate all her other debts; I just paid off 1 cc and am doing great with the translations thing...plus my pay raise is due next pay period!)... and with prices the way they are going...(the newspaper said the World Bank stated food prices have increased by 80% in the past 12 months!)
It was inevitable!
