If you KNOW you aren't good managing cash (like me!), don't carry any!...If I have it, I'll spend it!...so, mostly I take out $X for the week on Monday and that's it...same for the weekend...I try to leave the debit card at home, to avoid the temptation to withdraw more money!

    Seems like when I have cash, someone in the family steals it from me for whatever "good" reason! Definately risky to carry!
